Madji Indigenous Furniture was born from the partnership of former Wallabies Saia and Anthony Faingaa and long-time furniture specialist Craig Thomas, founder of Greena Business Solutions. The Faingaa twins have used their public profile and Bundjalung heritage (their grandmother was part of the Stolen Generation) to champion Indigenous enterprise since the early 2000s, while Craig brings three decades of commercial-fit-out experience and a deep network of Australian manufacturers. Together, they saw the potential to weave authentic First Nations artwork into workplaces across the country and build a cross-cultural business that strengthens the national economy.

Today Madji’s team reflects that purpose: 60 % women and 20 % Indigenous staff spanning account management, project management, interior design, marketing, delivery and installation. With an average 20 years’ industry tenure, our people continually lift the bar on sustainability, safety and quality assurance-proving that great design, cultural storytelling and commercial performance can thrive side by side.
